Marketing Assistant

This is a 6 -9 months internship followed by a graduate job with salary increase. If you graduate this year we’re open to part time for the first few months.

Your Challenge: Help us build and run our marketing campaign around our user’s needs

To help us achieve this we are looking for a talented and passionate marketing intern. Experience in communications, marketing, customer service or in a start-up would be beneficial but is not required. Jump.Work’s ethos is based around hiring for performance, skills and cultural fit.

As long as you have a passion for marketing, you are a fast learner and you love problem-solving as part of a collaborative and bold community, you are perfect for Jump!

In this role you will get the opportunity to build entire marketing and acquisition campaigns, helping to build on our acquisition of professionals to our platform. Alongside this, you will also get involved with shaping and developing our strategy, communication and brand as we continue to expand across the UK (and beyond!).

This role will be very hands-on as we work across the entire marketing team to develop our long and short-term strategy for professional acquisition, a process that will require a lot of problem-solving. However, this will be done through a very collaborative style as we work with a flat hierarchy. This means that your opinions will be listened to and valued, and you will have the opportunity to shape your role and the future of the company. 

Key responsibilities:

1. Help with the day-to-day processes involved in running our marketing campaign 
2. Project work: for example, increasing the number of repeat applications 
3. Set-up, scope and scale new channels 
4. Ownership for achieving your targets
5. Take ownership and management of community engagement through social media and customer support
6. Contribute to content creation for a variety of channels, from social media to blog posts, with the scope to even take responsibility for managing and scheduling content publishing

Key skills:

• Excellent communication skills 
• Good at solving problems in a marketing setting 
• Interested in understanding users 
• Finally, and most importantly, a passion for our problem and mission
